Ice age 2 the meltdown ps2 game I gave this to my kids, and they loved it. My daughter age 9 was able to get threw most of the levels with ease, and loved the graphics. My son age 4, was able to do most of the movement, but the levels that had actual time limits, or objectives were a little hard for him.

It was developed and released by Vivendi Games for the Playtation 2, Xbox, Gamecube, PC, Nintendo DS and the Game Boy Advanced on March 14th, 2006, 17 days before the movies release. A Wii version was released shortly after the consoles release.

This game works for me! Thank you so much. First I copied the contents of disk 1 to it's own original folder. Then I had to download a crack from gamecopyworld and then replace the original exe with that. Game is clear and works well.

Doesn't play for me either. I get the same message as the other two. It says i have to insert Disk 1. Anyone have a fix for this?

i have installed it, i mounted disk 1 and disk 2 when the installer asked me, and i gave to correct path. when i try to launch it after installation it says 'Please insert the 'Ice Age 2' disk labeled 'Disk 1'.' even though disk 1 is mounted. i know it detects that the disc is mounted, because if i eject it, it says 'No CD/DVD-ROM drive found.' instead.

I can install it correctly but when I try to start the game it says no Disk when I have mounted the Iceage2.exe. Am I doing something wrong?

Ice Age 2: The Meltdown, an action game released in 2006 by Vivendi Universal Games. The game was released for PC (Windows), GameCube, PlayStation, Wii and XBox.
Ice Age 2: The Meltdown is an arcade game for children as well as for the whole family. It refers to the animated film of the same title.
The player takes on the role of one of the fairy tale characters, and the choice is between the mammoth Manny, the sloth Sid, the saber-toothed tiger Diego and the squirrel Scratte. Each of them has a standard set of movements, such as running, jumping or swimming, and in addition, the heroes have their own individual features and skills that distinguish them.
The Ice Age is ending, the climate is warming and the glaciers are beginning to melt. This is where the action of the game begins. The problem comes when the animals realize that the water will soon flood their valley. The game's goal is to help the heroes survive the impending disaster.
In this arcade game, the heroes have to overcome various obstacles on their way, face dangerous opponents and collect scattered objects in the form of acorns or stones.
