Sep 21, 2016 Sadly, we will probably never see another Simpsons game, since Tapped Out has been making EA tons of money. The only way we are going to get another Simpsons game is by having The Simpsons: Hit and Run on PS4. I think it would be great to have The Simpsons: Hit and Run on a next gen console where it can have trophies, 1080p and streaming support.
The Simpsons: Hit and Run is one of those classic games which seemingly managed to cross the great divide of turning a fantastic TV Show into a fantastic game.
And now the original producer, Vlad Ceraldi, has stated that he believes the now close to 16 years old cult classic could be due a remaster or full-scale remake.
- You should try input mapper, its a program that makes the computer think think the ps4 remoteis a Xbox 360 remote, and if what MACCA said is right you could get input mapper to do all the witch craft stuff to get the ps4 remote to work and then boot hit and run and it should work fine.
- Hit and run is a simpsons game that is actually very good. Mostly if you are a fan of the series like I am. The simpsons Hit and Run lets you play as all four simpsons, and Apu. There are seven levels; Bart and Homer have two, everyone else has only one.
Speaking exclusively to LADbible , Ceraldi said:
'I could see it on multiple different types of platforms as a remake or remaster. It would have to take the parties who are in charge of the property to want that to happen and someone out there to decide that they were going to go out and do it. But absolutely, it would be fun to explore those characters and that universe again, that work again.'

Ironically, to prove his point, Ceraldi had first hand seen the impact the game had made when interviewing a candidate for a job some years back.
'I remember interviewing somebody for one of our games – they didn't know that I worked on The Simpsons: Hit & Run. They were going on about one of their favourite games of all time and ended up saying at the end that it was The Simpsons: Hit & Run.
'How much joy they had when they opened it up on Christmas morning and put it in and they ended up playing it all Christmas. Simpsons hit and run pc. They're telling this story and then say they were six-years-old.
'It makes you feel old, but it was also interesting seeing this young new employee of our company, he's starting his career.'

Ceraldi also took time to discuss the practicality of remastering the game, something supposedly he's spoken about at length. down the pub.
'It's come up before in discussions but not seriously, usually at the pub, just talking about the idea of some of the magic that was captured and the potential ability to recapture it in a new way with a different audience, with a different generation of devices.
'There was joy in the making of it as well as obviously the fans playing it – that doesn't always happen but it certainly happened with that game. We had our doubts that it would work out the way we hoped but obviously it did.'
'There's masters out there like Nintendo and other companies who have nailed it time and time again, so it would be wonderful to reinvest in how you can control the characters, how you can control the world, how much of the world you can explore in detail.
'So there's a lot more fidelity you can go for as far as content exploration than we were able to do in that particular era. There were a lot of references put into the game but we didn't get everything. There's a lot more things that could be done and that would be fascinating for sure.'

Simpsons Hit And Run Trophies Free
Unfortunately, those hoping to see the game hit the PS4, Xbox or even future consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Scarlett might want to temper their excitement for now though.
According to Ceraldi any decision regarding a remaster or remake will fall directly with those who own the rights to the game.
